When I was reading a medical newsletter that I receive from Dr. Russell Blaylock, he said never take Vitamin C with food unless you're anemic because it will make one store way too much iron. I never take it with my food. But you can take it, just 2 hours or more after eating and 2 hours from eating again. If you will study up on this, he's right. I have to watch my iron intake because of gout. So maybe you also have too much store iron in your liver. I don't know your again (I'm 62), but I don't need any more iron, period.
So let me ask this, do you have any NAC or milk thistle? This might help you right now. Usually when I take my vitamin C, I do it at bedtime away from food. I did take some earlier today, but it was a couple of hours after I had eaten and before I ate anything again.
