Re: Iodine to blame?

A close friend quickly gained over 10lbs when she started on hydrocortisone for her adrenal fatigue. She has done much better on pregnenolone plus just a tiny dose of HC and other adrenal related supplements.

"Estrogen dominant" usually refers to imbalance of E and progesterone. Pregnenolone is the immediate precursor to prog. However since it is an inexpensive supplement, don't expect your doc to mention it ; )

Don't forget selenium for thyroid support. If you have a heavy metal problem contributing to low thyroid, selenium might be more important than iodine.
