When you do your best to maintain a healthy Diet most of the time, do regular cleanses, and avoid the worst of the bad foods like transfats and huge amounts of refined sugar; then you can enjoy the occasional holiday treats without guilt. When we treat these goodies as something special and not a daily necessity then they can be enjoyed and appreciated for what they are-a treat. Now that the holidays are behind us we can focus on cleansing and rebuilding (and maybe enjoy a bite of chocolate on Valentine's Day :)
We should not treat fasting and cleansing like a form of punishment for past sins; rather they should be good things we do for ourselves because we are worth it.
