Re: Bartholin's Gland Abscess Hell Experience

I'm 15 and I experienced my first bartholins abscess December 23 2015. Didn't have a great Christmas because of all the pain I was in. The 26th on December it got awfully huge and the pain was unbelievable. It's not something you want to go through. I had to stay over night and the next morning i got a surgery but I was unconscious. (Thank god because when I woke up I was in a lot of pain) I felt better hours after the surgery. 5 months later I discovered another bartholins. I called my dr right away as soon as I felt the pain and felt around it. I went in the next day and they numbed me but I still felt every little thing they were doing. It was so painful I'm sure the whole building heard me screaming. Nurses were holding me down. I just got another one a few days ago. I've taken sitz bath. I have had warm compresses on it for hours. I've taken pain pills and nothing has worked yet. My boyfriend has bought me Silica 30c but I haven't seen him yet so I haven't got a chance to take it yet. These bartholins are no joke. They are so painful. It's difficult to sit, to walk, to stand & even sleep. I stick a pillow between my legs and lay on my side. It keeps my inter legs away from it so its not so painful. A lot of people have these for years and refuse to go to the hospital to get it drained. I mean, I would refuse to go also but sometimes you just can't get them to go away on your own. It's one HELL of an experience & I feel sorry for everyone who has to go through the amount of pain they put you in. :(( Tweet
