Psoriasis is very much a digestive issue, the primary issue having to do with Bile. I see on this forum that a number of you who have had your gallbladder removed now have suddenly developed psoriasis. Bile is responsible for the breakdown and elimination of endotoxins in the intestines. Without adequate bile these endotoxins cannot be removed and your liver becomes taxed trying to break them down. Inadequate amounts of bile combined with a taxed liver forces the body to use the skin to remove these endotoxins. As the endotoxins build up in the skin an immune response is triggered and the psoriatic lessions develop. So how do we fix it? Bile of course 😀. Recent studies using Ox bile and bile salts on test subjects who have chronic and severe psoriasis, has been nothing less than astounding with almost 80% becoming asymtomatic in 4 to 8 weeks. I would also include digestive enzyme supplementation as well as a probiotic. Some studies seem to indicate that gluten is a primary factor in autoimmune disease so you may want to try a gluten free diet to speed up the detox process. But the key is bile!!! Start taking bile asap and best of luck to anyone with psoriasis.
