Help with calculation...(Iodine) i seem to be too dumb ...

i need help with math hahaha


OK, the problem :

i took an empty cleand bottle of Lugols,
put 70g of distilled water and 14 g of potassium
iodide. That makes a 20% solution .... right so far????


1 drop of 5% Lugols has 6,25 mg iodine

right???

does my 20% solution now automatically have 25mg
per drop????

or what am i missing.


for some reason i calculated something like 1 drop of my 20% has 9mg Iodine. BUT dont ask me how i got this result hahaha

and yea... i ve used gram not ml since my potassium Iodide comes in powder form.
