This guy really missed the mark in my opinion. Of course both sides of the argument of being saved by grace or by works are incorrect and foolish. We are saved by faith in Christ. That is our work. If anyone thinks it is a simple thing to believe in Christ (which is to dwell in Christ), then they don't have the first clue as to what it means to have faith in Christ. Everything that we need to do, have faith and be born again is stated in the Bible, but it is never explained exactly what it all means, and this is as it should be. Only those who seek for themselves the meaning of all things can understand. The majority of Christians are very comfortable with their own understanding of faith and re-birth into Christ, that is the understanding of man. Their understanding is reinforced when they talk to other Christians who confirm, 'yes our understanding of faith and salvation is correct'. And they all become very comfortable with their understanding of the gospel according to man. Because we are all very comfortable with words like grace and faith and belief. But none of these words mean what we think they mean because they are not the words of man. They are real things and Christ is the real living Word. We must go beyond the words, beyond anything that could ever be debated. And we must live the Gospel, that is our work and it has nothing to do with the actions of our body in the flesh (although the result of living the Gospel does also have action in the physical world).
