I would strongly suggest that you start doing nystatin enemas to get at the candida in your colon in addition to oral antifungals. Fludan.com sells nystatin powder. Mix 1/2 teaspoon of nystatin in warm water and inject anally with something like a Fleet enema bottle (Fleet enemas are sold at all drug stores). You should do the enema after having your daily bowel movement. You can also do a cleanse (evacuation) type enema before the nystatin enema to clear even more fecal matter out of the colon. I also am a big proponent of taking laxatives if you have candida. Don't take the harsh laxatives like Ex-Lax or Dulcolax. I used to recommend milk of magnesia but I don't anymore because it is too alkaline. I suggest Miralax or generic equivalent.
Note: The only prebiotics I recommend are Galactomune and Lactulose. FOS and inulin can aggravate candida.
After you knock down your candida in your colon to a significant, large amount with the nystatin enemas and oral antifungals then you should ramp up on the probiotics, prebiotics regimen. You will see results. Without the probiotics and prebiotics, you will forever be on the anti-candida diet and never really get cured.
