Re: when the son of man comes
Those who read the words in the Bible and experience the Word behind those words are those who will understand. The truth is there plain as day for those with ears to hear. I read the Bible for years and didn't understand a word of it (though in my prideful human ego I certainly thought that I understood it). In some sense the Bible is like one big parable, it contains all truth for those who seek it but also can function as a stumbling block for the blind who want to pick and choose which parts to actually believe,'That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.'
Very good post about Faith. Yes, He said that all those who have faith in Him will have eternal life. What does it mean to have faith? Read the whole Bible with ears to hear and know the Truth and the Truth will set you free. What most Christians have is hope in Christ, not faith and they are all too content to stop there in their hope of Christ and never allow that hope to transform into something real (which is faith), that causes them to be born again and bear fruit. Christians turn something that is so good and true and real into something fake and make-believe. Christ is more real than anything in this physical world and those who have hope in Christ can (and must if they want to be saved) experience and know Him if they open their hearts and minds. Let us do away with this humbo-jumbo nonsense of the gospel of man that tries to make God into some sort of fairy tale.
God is love. All people with hope in Christ better get asking themselves the question, am I love? Is every single cell in my body saturated with love? If the answer is no, then your heart does not dwell in God. And if your heart doesn't dwell in God, where does it dwell? Because where your heart is that is also where your treasure is.
