Re: Plan and pregnancy
I'm not sure on the rebounding. It can depend on your structure, ligaments, alignment, etc. It may be too much or gently make work just fine.
As far as pregnancy goes, we've had many women do the Plan while pregnant. We've also had over 50 women previously diagnosed as infertile, become pregnant with the Plan. The only people who seem to recommend against sweating during pregnancy are the medical field who lack a lot of understanding. Sweating during pregnancy is very common in Finland and other countries where sweating is more culturally acceptable.
The only negative study that I saw was in relationship to women who had a fever of at least 24 hours in duration. Even then, the only risk was between Days 21 and 28 of their pregnancy. The ones who were affected were a very small proportion of those observed.
You're not sweating and heating the body up for 24 hours at a time on the Plan. You only need to do 10-15 minutes a day, 6 days a week. It would take you approximately 3-5 months of sweating on the Plan to equal that one 24-hour period.
I always leave it up to the mom, as fear is a big factor during pregnancy. We've never seen an issue with it.
Another way to look at it is, the longer toxins stay in your body, the more your baby's body will absorb.
