I read that the main reason people die from fasting {like in third world countries, pure water fasting, etc} is because of the severe detoxing that is happening is not being ELIMINATED from the body, but continuely reabsorbed, essentially re-toxifying themselves over and over again. {Add in dehydration, obviously} DAILY elimination is ESSENTIAL for health. Both on and off the MC. Plug up the exits and you will die in your own crap.
