Just my personal and present situation here: At day 6 now, my knees (long ago damaged to a degree with gymnastics and track) feel SOOO much better than usual. I can draw them up while sitting here typing this, can easily bend down to dress the kiddos. I wondered if it was a feeling better due to decreased pain sensation or some sort of decrease in inflammation I didn't know I had, or some sort of joint, or old injury, healing! Whatever the case, wonderful! I'll certainly be watching to see if the improvements continue after my fast/cleanse.
