Do I Need A Dental Cleanup Years After Cavitation?

I had all four of my wisdom teeth taken out 11 years ago and am currently going through a long, and severe, parasite cleanse striving for optimal health. Since I had a cavitation with an everyday dentist, do I need to complete the dental clean up? I'm also looking to get braces to straighten my teeth in the next few weeks so I guess the question is two-fold, should I wait until my teeth are straight after the braces (from a holistic dentist of course) before I go ahead and complete the clean up, if I need to do so, or should a begin the dental clean up now?
