The very best expectorant I have used is called SSKI. It was THE major medicine used for lung problems prior to WWII, when the drug companies buried it because there was no money in it.

SSKI works so well that I was able to discontinue my asthma inhalers, SSKI keeps my asthma under control better than inhalers! Inhalers are insanely expensive.

You should also take 200mcg selenium with SSKI for your thyroid. Iodine & selenium must always be taken together to prevent thyroid problems.
