ozone for mucus?

will drinking ozone break up mucus? I need to help my body with eliminating the mucus. As some of you know, i am on prednisone. Trust me when I say that the stuff that needs to come out isn't moving. Ughhh.. i'm in pain from coughing so freaking much. It's like a dry cough in the day hours. There is no way I can cough long and hard enough to get it up, so it stays in there., :( The only time I can get anything up and out is a few hours before I have to take that prednisone. I've had a low grade fever for over a week and 1/2 and the pain from coughing is non stop and now my body feels bruised. Anyway, my question is : will drinking a few glasses of ozone help break this stuck mucus? what else can loosen it up enough for me to cough it up w/out coughing up a lung?
