You're right. It's not irrelevant. Everything is relevant and we should seek out the truth of all things, so I take that back. But I still stand by the meaning of the cross the way that I explained it. If you have another interpretation of the shape of the cross, let's hear it. Personally, I don't worship any images (horizontal lines, crosses or any other), I worship my Creator directly.

As for the other things you are mentioning, I would have to look into that more before I could really comment.
