Other parasites can also destroy your life. Tapeworms are dangerous as are also flukes which can cancer. Denying parasites is denying serious diseases that effect tons of people throughout the world. There is something wrong with the way doctors are beind trained in medical school and ignoring these infections. I'd say a doctor who ignorees this stuff when a person has clear signs of being infected is cowardly honestly.

Also at least dna testing seems like it has a better shot than an ova test which isn't a reliable measure. DNA test can potentially pick up microscopic DNA and possibly find something. Barely anyone offers public dna testing, I actually looked for a while to find one and this is the only one I know of now which the lab said comes out in a few days.
