Partly true. Magnesium is used to construct biofilms so therefore mag stearate could contribute but so could any magnesium, calcium, iron and other metals.

However what you have read is misinformation, as usual with that type of story and there is no truth in it. If you read a bit more on it you find it is entirely false>
