Re: Does anyone else feel chronically: Heavy, rundown, bogged down??

I know we've chatted previously I'm sorry I don't recall the details of you situation. I imagine I've shared these with you previously but if not you might find some clues at the links below.

My health went south in the years after I got Lyme in my late 20's. I just assumed it was the long term sfx from Lyme, but it was heavy metals--hms-- as the bone density problem and response to HM detox suggests.

I don't know if HMs are involved in your case, but I strongly suggest that you continue to look for clues. I had been a healthy youth and teen so I just assumed I'd bounce back or my doctor would find something. That did not happen--for 10 yrs! In the end I had to get lucky that I over heard Dr Hyman on PBS. Test results were mostly negative for HMs but I tried detox anyway. My functional med doctor agreed to write the script for detox meds since he did not have anything else for me.

Hyman in his book says he went to 10 other doctors before someone realized HMs were involved.

Thyroid ok, incl Free T3?

Adrenals ok, including both cortex and medulla?

After checking the above consider mitochondria support; however supporting mito and thyroid before getting adrenal cortex supported can make things worse.

Obviously your description is consistent with what so many in HM detox groups describe. Dr. Hal Huggins was a pioneer in mercury free dentistry.

This is an example from a 40-ish engineer/physicist

There are 1000+ hair tests with symptoms here

If you have a history of ADD, especially inattentive form, learn about related catecholamine depression. This can be related to the medulla side of adrenals.
