Re: Worried about appendicitis
A gentle home
coffee enema would do you fine, and you can use distilled or spring water from the grocery store, and find a
colonics bag at pretty much any health/nutrition store. Try asking at CVS or Walgreens if they have enema bags? It's a common feminine hygiene product, so not necessarily thaaat rare.
Sea salt is what's recommended for home colonics, 'bout 1 teaspoon to 1-2 liters.
Are you
parasite cleansing? That could be a worm letting go.
Basically you wanna induce peristalsis.
A stronger salty broth can also induce bowel dumping, heaven knows I've given myself a bit of diarrhoea a few times that way.
Peppermint tea is also a good way to get your system pushing stuff out..
If it's your first meal after several days of fasting, the noise and a bit of discomfort can come while your system is getting back into gear. It depends too upon what your meal was! If you are coming off of a longer fast, or an herbal fast, fruit juices, gently cooked fruit, that sort of stuff is what's reccomended.
Meat and high-fiber foods take a bit more work from the gut, and fiber definately can give a bit of blockage.
Try some potassium-rich juices?
Coconut water has more potassium in it per weight than a single banana.
The term should not be 'go bananas', but 'go coconuts'. ;)
Bless!
