Re: Liver congestion but no gallstones?
You make a good point, indeed.
It is difficult to track down just where the whole system is "failing" or where we are failing our poor bodies.
Possibly we may be ingesting plenty of the nutrients required to manufacture glutathione, but something else, somewhere, is interfering.
As to sulfate, yes, we can supplement with the right amount of sulfur-containing protein food or even MSM, yet, still, something is not working right. Yet, we are "sure" that the primary problem is in the physical liver because that is where the ache or pain is.
On the other hand, maybe there really is stuff in the pipe ("pipe" version of the liver) - which is where flushes sometimes work and you feel wonderful afterwards. There are at least some testimonials to this effect that are believable. Me, I felt very good for about a week then slowly my symptoms returned.
This must be where herbal medicine fits in. Over the ages, prescientific people figured out that certain plants fixed their symptoms, not having a clue as to how all parts of the body work together.
Any opinions? I like your brief input, a lot.
