You go. I have requested a speedy trial and I am about to file two more motions for dismissal. I've heard they will schedule the trial without notifying you of the court date, and then convict you for not showing up, so you have to stay on top of it and keep calling to find out why you have not heard from them. I hear the reason Colorado made Mj legal was because they couldn't get a jury to convict anyone. The same can happen with traffic tickets. They will stop using highway robbery as a form of taxation if people take the money out of it by stopping up the system with trials. But it would be a whole lot more efficient if everybody who thinks it is unethical to police for profit instead of protection would form a PAC and contribute $10 to the cause, and make a $1000 contribution to the elected officials campaign funds, make an appointment, go in and tell them so. The law could be changed. We could skin all the cancerous fat tumors off the constitution that way and enjoy freedom finally by calling for investigations into what these cities are doing with the millions of dollars per year/month they are raising. I bet the people in power are getting their roads paved, and the people not in power are driving on dirt roads. And those who drive through and don't even live there are paying for it… A call for accountability by a constituency that is willing to put it's money where it's mouth is and support the law makers who are competing to get elected will make a difference. What are they going do to, have everybody in the PAC who donates $10 murdered????? That would cost too much. Not even sure there are that many blood thirsty mercenaries willing to kill for profit.
