Why is it the only website that carrying story is one paid for by big pharma and the article is written by none other than Dorit Reiss who, the article states is:

Professor of Law at the University of California Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco, CA.

Actually, Dorit is a UC Hastings College of the Law professor, not a University of California in San Francisco (large medical school complex) professor. UCSF and Hastings have a Consortium on law, Science and health policy together. Dorit was, at least in May 2014, an “affiliated faculty” of that consortium, as formerly stated on UC Hastings’ website, but the current website lists only the core faculty of the consortium.

Also, Dorit's Family owns GSK stock by her own admission:

No. First I started talking about vaccines on the internet. Then I wrote blog posts on the topic. Then I scheduled a panel on the topic with several colleagues. As preparation, I was asked if I had conflicts of interests. I knew of none. The form included "do you own stock in pharmaceutical companies". So I asked my husband if we had stock.
