Re: Magnesium Supplements Seem To Cause Magnesium Deficiency

Thanks so much for the replies!

Sorry I didn't respond until now. I thought I would receive an email notification when my thread had new posts, btu I did not get any, so I assumed it was drifting unanswered since my last post.

Anyway, your comment about other minerals is interesting. I can tell you that my calcium levels are apparently okay. However, my potassium is extremely low. It's a little low in blood tests, but in hair tests it's in the very lowest percentile possible. Oddly, my sodium levels are also low in hair tests; but I eat a lot of Celtic salt.

I Googled for foods high in potassium and I don't eat many of them. I have bananas and spinach occasionally. I have yoghurt more often, but I have problems absorbing dairy, so I tend to avoid it. And I'm not sure how much good it does me, since it makes me bloated afterwards.

I also have massive cravings for full-cream dairy and raw cocoa. I'm not sure what that would indicate.

(Ah-ha! I see the email notification option below. I've clicked it this time).
