Hi there. Among other health complaints, I seem to suffer from magnesium deficiency. The symptoms all line up and two hair analyses showed an extremely low amount of magnesium. The problem is that when I take supplemental magnesium I get worse! I descend into increased anxiety, I sleep even more poorly, and I get suicidal ideation.
It's bizarre, but I seem to have no real answer. If I don't supplement, I am decidedly deficient and live with constant agitation and insomnia, but if I do supplement I feel like life is not worth living. Does anyone have any idea what's going on? Even better, an answer?
