You hit it on the head....
stress causes sweat...they are attracted to moisture and will use your body's stress/sweat response to infest more deeply. The more you panic/worry, the more they attack. Figure it out: there are fungi/oocyte/pathogens that thrive on moist climates; they are attracted to injured mammalian tissue because it creates a portal for infection...we must each determine the sensitivities of our individual pathogens regardless of name, tracking back to the remedies used by people residing in the moist climates where this sh*t originated.
FYI, all of the potential candidates create hyaline sheaths to protect their hyphae extensions. The level of analysis on this site is unfortunately way too shallow. You won't find answers here, or a cure anywhere.
