Enzymes can help lower the "fibrin" build up. They also thin out the blood, so if you already take blood thinners be aware.

A topical enzyme spray Kleen Green is a wonder for alleviating itchiness and laying the dust in your environment.

Borax is your friend... Put some in your shampoo and scruff a little all over like a salt rub. Add borax into the laundry helps.
