The label usually has its full molecular form (such as potassium iodide). You are saying that pure Iodine can not survive long. Thus if they call their product nascent and list Iodine as the ingredient it must in fact be more than that and they are not listing it or unaware. I am assuming you cannot just label something incompletey, such as listing magnesium as the ingredient when it is really magnesium chloride.
