Good foods/supplements to recover thyroid dysfunction?

I have gotten thyroid blood test back in November, and here are my results.

TSH November - 1.86 (reference: 0.45 - 4.5 uIU/mL)
TSH December - 1.23 uIU/mL, after 26 days
Free T3 - 3.0 (2.0-4.4 pg/mL)
Free T4 - 1.91, high (0.82 - 1.77 ng/dL)
rT3 - 30.8, high (9.2 - 24.1 ng/dL)
FT3/RT3 ratio < 10 (> 20 needed)

Thyroglobulin Antibody - 0.9 (0.0 - 0.9 IU/mL)
TPO Ab - 14 (0 - 34 IU/mL)

Vitamin D - 22.8 (30 - 100 ng/dL)

As seen above, my FT3 to RT3 ratio is way off and my TSH declined rapidly in just under 4 weeks. Low TSH and high FT4 point toward hyperthyroidism, but my FT3/RT3 ratio is under 10, pointing toward hypothyroidism. Also, I feel fatigued all the time (hypo), but I am also irritated a lot (hyper). My sexual desire has declined massively, starting in last October.

It seems like I have a dysfunctional thyroid, which needs to be addressed asap. Is there any foods or supplements that restore thyroid function/balance? Would Iodine help in this case? I have tried Iodine in the past, but my hair fell out almost immediately from it... Maybe due to heavy metal detox, but that experience was pretty dreadful.

I really do not want to get on prescription med because my body is not very strong at the moment. I would sincerely appreciate any input. Thanks a lot.
