I was a five month pregnancy size with fibroids and had a myomectomy which removed over 30 fibroids. A year later, I had 15 very small new ones. Have learned that they are a result of estrogen dominance and Iodine deficiency. Iodine deficiency can cause estrogen dominance. Supplementing Iodine and bio identical progesterone now while trying to detoxify. I believe iodine is helping after I got through a strong detox period.
