Re: Here's my Fabulous Story of ...Chronic Constipation :)
I think it's been about three days or so and things have been moving right along. Day one after my fast, I had a vegetables. Day two, salads, kefir, tea and i did bring coffee back into my mix. I didn't actually miss it that much but it's just an easy grab when you are on the go, especially during these colder months. Yesterday, after a long trip, I had a hard time falling asleep. I stayed up, and munched on a banana and an orange. I wasn't going to eat too much fruit, but i suppose it is better to eat then cake and cookies. It has fiber and vitamins, win and win. Today has been good. Eating a salad as we speak. I bought a trail mix blend of seeds and such, putting a quarter cup of that on top of my salad. Gives me a few more calories and i feel like i need a crunch. One thing that i am failing miserably at is my water intake. Now that i've allowed coffee back in, it takes up quite a bit of my thirst. Been taking the recommended dosage of magnesium. And...I've had a BM every friggin morning. It's like a break through. Altho I would like to go by myself, going everyday is something i haven't experienced in nine years. So, I'm trying not to complain too loudly. Oh! and to be honest...i was given a "fresh out of the oven" cookie, i ate it...and it made my stomach hurt. Does anyone think a gluten intolerance is to blame here?? It wasn't a "bad" cookie. So, I'll try to stick to my raw/steamed plan. How are you all doing?
