When I am fasting, I also see foods everywhere on TV (not just commercials.)
The first few days of fasting has the most rapid weight loss. It is probably mostly water. Not really anything to be that encouraged about, but everyone feels encouraged anyway, even if they know better. After that, the weight loss slows down, but it is more likely to be something like fat or unwanted things in your body.
So, be happy, but when it slows down, don't be discouraged, that's just what happens.
