Re: Anyone else Depersonalized?

When you say depersonalization/dissociation, do you mean you're having out of body experiences (OOBES)? If so, I'd say try your best to enjoy them by turning them into positive experiences. OOBEs can seem very scary at first, especially since they're somehow connected to near death experiences but knowing you're able to do incredible things in this state may make you feel slightly better about your current situation. When I was at my worst, I was bedbound due to untreated hypothyroidism. Physically, I felt absolutely miserable and there was a point I thought I was literally going to die. But due to the OOBEs I experienced, I was able to make it through my physical suffering, leaving my body behind to travel to places I've never even been to in physical form. So in a way, being able to dissociate may actually be a good thing; it could take your mind off the suffering you're going through while letting your body rest and recover.
The ease of slipping out of your body lessens after you feel better so separating yourself from your physical form becomes something you actually have to put effort into doing after you fully recover.. which is why I say enjoy them while you can!
