Can I mix topical aloe vera Aloe with DMSO?

Hi there, I am new to this forum and I am trying to find some help for a friend who recently came out of hospital after undergoing spinal surgery.

I have some 100% pure DMSO, and I would like to mix it with something so my friend can massage it into her back, to help her mobility. Ideally, I would like to make a mix of 70% DMSO and 30% of something else.

I have some Aloe Vera Gel, but it is the topical stuff that you squeeze out of a tube, and not the pure drinking gel.

would like to add the "Topical" Aloe Vera, as I have it to hand... but NOT if the other chemicals in the product will do my friend harm - when mixed with the DMSO.

Aloe Pura; Aloe Vera Gel - 200ml

Though reading the ingredients it also contains:

Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crossplymer,
Panthynol (Pro Vitamin B5),
Disodium EDTA,
Sodium Hydroxide,
Phenoxyethanol,
Potassium Sorbate,
Benzoic Acid

Q: Is this product safe for mixing with the DMSO, or should I be looking for the Aloe drinking juice to mix with DMSO?
