Yeah that's probly right, electrodes appear fairly long and 7 gauge is around 3 1/2mm diameter, mine are shorter and 3mm diameter, and I only use 3x9 silver wire, which is assayed at 99.98 anyway, point 2 is nothing in the scheme of things. I presume the magnetic stirrer comes with it? If not you'd be advised to get it if you plan on brewing larger volumes.
