Is it cheating if I have herbs/ herbal teas including garlic, wormwood, black walnut, cloves??

I am on day 5 of the master cleanse, and I'm afraid I may have accidentally been cheating..

The big reason I got interested in The Master Cleanse was because I wanted to do a parasite cleanse. I read the book by Stanley's student, Tom Woloshyn. It mentions that it's good to do an herbal parasite detox simultaneously with the master cleanse. It also says that herbal teas are allowed on the master cleanse, but nothing else other than the lemons, maple syrup and cayenne.

So, I have been taking Black-Walnut , worm wood and cloves for parasites. I also read that garlic is good for treating parasites, (and garlic's an herb, right? I don't even know) so I made a garlic tea.. and threw in a couple other herbs (straining out all of the cloves and leaves of course. ) and a little pinch of salt..

I know that lots of people while say "ONLY the three ingredients, NOTHING else," but I felt like I was staying within the rules of the book I read...

Have I messed up? has the detox process been unable to even start yet? Do I have to start all over, or is it ok that I did those things? maybe TMI, but I haven't really eliminated much besides yellow watery BM's, and I haven't gotten a very white coating on my tongue .. It's been tough having little energy and fighting the cravings, so I really hope these 5 days haven't been for nothing.
