Re: Carbs vs Paleo (SIBO)

Just some thoughts here..

You have to eat/drink A LOT MORE sea/himalayan salt when you are on Paleo, especially if you have ideal/lower blood pressure. Naturally, you need to also get the other electrolytes like Magnesium and Potassium. I like to use Himalayan Salt Sole and Willard Water Dark XXX to keep me nicely hydrated. I buy my Willard Water at Swanson's at the best price, and it is an amazing product I would not want to be without.

Those with high blood pressure, I feel, get the most benefit out of really low carbing, like Keto.

Also, those people that feel bad or weak on a Paleo diet might not eat enough. You need to eat almost 2x !! the amount than usual!! This was my problem.

It was Mark's Daily Apple website and an Atkins carb/food counter that helped me tons to discover how much carbs (tubers, veggies, coconut flour mainly), protein, fat I needed a day to feel good. I found that eating 150 grams of protein, with 150 grams of carbs and 89 grams of fat was very good for me. Any carb lower than 50 grams puts you into Ketosis.
