Re: Trying to break free from a narcissist

A narcissist is like a chameleon. They can shapeshift into anything they choose. They are expert actors/actresses. They study you and learn what you like, they mirror you and then they present an "act" into exactly what you are looking for. Then once they have you under their control, they will gleefully torment you until you leave or die. Its like "whats wrong with you that you don't like me throwing dirt in your face".

You need to realize a narc cannot love. Its all just an act. They don't have a true personality. They are basically empty shells and they know it. Therefore the dramas to keep the focus off themselves, its always your fault type of stuff.

The best thing is to accept they are not human, walk away and never turn back.

They just love and thrive on the attention you are giving them, good or bad, it makes no difference to a narc.

Walk away and fix that which is within you that causes you to attract narcissists. Or you will continue to attract them.

There is no cure for narcissism. You can't fix them.
