Hi. I have never really overdosed in tea or coffee, but I left my job in 2006, and not worked since. Now I don't know if it'cos I'm at home all day, or just because my lifestyle has changed since then, but I seem to be drinking a heck of a lot of coffee since leaving. I can remember when I did drink the odd one or two coffees it was always one teaspoon to a mug....but over time I've realised that the one spoon just isn't enough. I find myself now putting three level teaspoons per mug and sometimes that doesn't taste strong enough. I never ever associated caffeine with hair loss until I quite accidentally discovered this website page and I have read all the hair loss caffeine related issues. My hair has become thinner and thinner over the last 4 or 5 years to the point of my scalp being very visible..I am guvinv up coffee right now, it's december 1st 2014......I will post on here every month from now and let everyone know how I am getting on. I should probably see a GP over this, but I feel like I am really wasting his time over such an issue, so to give up the caffeine won't do any harm and if my hair starts to improve even better, I will keep you posted. thanks for listening...TT from stoke on trent.
