Wife's Constant Chronic Constipation.

It is understood that posting this here is not a definite answer to the problem and it is possible that I may have forgotten a symptom.

My wife has been dealing with chronic constipation for nearly all of her life with very little answer as to why. Her worst stint was 3 weeks without a bowel movement. When she was a kid, she was told that she had IBS, but this would mean that she would have both constipation plus diarrhea. She has never had diarrhea that wasn't medically induced.

She had a colonoscopy several years ago which came up with no answers. It return negative on results. We waited 3 months to see a Gastrologist, which I had to pay cash for, and still turned away. He stated that she just needed to eat more fiber. No exam, just reviewed records and sent her on her way.

Recently during another surgery, tubal ligation (Tubes Tied), they found endometriosis. And in some small way I felt relieved. "This answers the question of why her monthly visitor is so harsh. Even after growing up with 2 sisters." They found some lesions on her bowel, but not very big. I am wondering if this could be causing the issues? Either way, when she is on her period, for the most part she is able to have a bowel movement. But other than that, she has to have medically treated bowel movements or not go at all. When she was pregnant, was the only time she could claim a normal stool (at least 3 times a week).

A recent X-ray showed that she was full of poop up to the down colon (this is the last drop so to speak) and then nothing from there. From the Anus to the horizontal section of the colon was empty. With a lot of gas.

Treatments so far:
Daily dos of miralax (After 4 days she triples sometime quadruples the recommended dos)

Daily Fiber (food + supplement = No change)

Removing sugar, caffeinated drinks, and cheese from diet = gives me a headache and doesn't do anything for her :P

Colace doesn't produce results.

Doculax puts her in a lot of pain but effective clean out

X-rays, colonoscopy haven't shown issues (aware of)

Deep tissue massage works sometimes but painful

Tried greasy foods and wine/alcohol with little result

Reaching out:
My wife is in a lot of pain and it is a constant struggle just to use the bathroom. I am wondering if it could be possible for bent bowel that could cause a blockage? Or if Endometriosis is causing this issue? Her bowel movements are getting worst. Waiting for her bowel movements has become a normal once every 2 weeks deal. I guess we shall see if the Hysterectomy in January proves to provide some incite.

Thanks for any advice or options.
