Are young tapeworms segmented?

I just have a question as to whether or not all Tapeworms are segmented, including the young ones.
I passed a parasite this morning that was long and ribbon like, but not segmented.
Do roundworms have the ability to flatten out when dead? Or could it have been a Tapeworm with no segments?
I really appreciate all answers given as this will help me determine if I am to do another round of albendazole or start praziquantel.
