Thank you for the comment that Candida can cause low stomach acidity, that all makes sense. I used HCl to test the acidity of my stomach. The naturopath has you start taking very low dose then ups the dose incrementally until you feel burning - which means you have enough stomach acidat that point. I took it for a month and got no reaction whatsoever. My digestion has bee messed for 4 yrs now, I've got my GB out because they said it wasnt working, but there was no change after the surgery. An allergy test from a naturopath that measures IgG antibodies was off the charts from my blood sample and it indicates correlation to fungal disease. That is the only test that ever came back with anything after 4 yrs of mainstream medical tests.(aside the gb not working) That's why I am on these forums trying to figure out how to attack this first. And step 1. I believe would be the alkalizing, then I can look into the stomach acidity thing later, but perhaps it will straighten itself out after I get rid of the fungus/candida.
