Re: Massive Quick Success with Ascaris
I've read that Berberine HCI helps with diabetes. But you would need to do your own research as I don't have diabetes and didn't explore this thoroughly. I do have mild insulin resistance and wonder the same thing you do, if the worms cause a heightening of
Sugar in the blood (through inability for cells to utilize it) for its own end. But mine is mild enough that staying away from sugary foods is sufficient.
I've moved on to using drugs now to try to kill the disseminated worms. Every time I kill the worms in my gut, they come back, because I have larvae floating around my body due to the disseminated adult worms. I have a nest in my back that moves up and down, depending on how weak they are. I also have them in my skeletal muscle. I am now thinking they are toxocara adult worms, that my body allowed to mature due to a 6 month course of prednisone I was on. Normally toxocara can't mature in the human body, but the have been known to in cases of immune suppression.
Toxocara is dog or cat roundworm.
Right now I'm getting help from Dr. Chieu and he has prescribed short courses Thiabendazole, Ivermectin, and Prednisone in a specific sequence to try to treat the disseminated roundworms. He is also treating me for flukes.
