Are you sick when you drink coconut milk?

Hi.

I started to be interested in paleo diet a few weeks ago, but I'm still new, testing and searching info.

I read that coconut water/milk/oil can help you reduce parasites, if I have any, I did the test with saliva in a glass of water, and the test showed I have probably a moderate infection.

My problem is, each time I drink coconut milk, in any form, and even a very little amount, I get ill, nauseous, and with a weird feeling in the belly. I searched on the internet, and found a ton of comments from people with the same symptoms. I have no problem eating coconut flakes, at least, I never noticed. The common explanation I've read about these symptoms is that it's a detox reaction. I've been fasting, do I knew what detox reactions can be, and how ill you can be. But I'm doubtful here, because even a small amount make me instantaneously nauseous. It's not like other detox reactions, where you need time and a reasonable amount of product. So, can it be allergy, intolerance, the liver refusing to metabolise it?

I'm also very astonished about paleo saying -according to my understanding, and considering I'm new to this - saying that saturated fat are good, and even better than insaturated ones. Here in Europe, the best diets, the ones that make people living 100 year or more, have always been low saturated fat/insaturated fat ratio. It works with Cretan diet, with traditional French diet, and with Japanese diet. And all the people I know that eat a lot of saturated fats have strong body odours/acnea, etc. So this idea is very new for me, and I don't know what should I think about it, but I will definitively give it a try.
