Re: Suffered severe social anxiety my whole life help

It's interesting you say both your parent suffered from anxiety too.
I'm not alone in the realisation that these conditions which have no obvious psychological cause, that there is a biochemical imbalance as the root cause.

Finding out which imabalances are occurring is the health journey.

You could try to locate in your area an 'Orthomolecular' practitioner - they have awareness of many commonly considered social 'mental' imbalances that have a biochemical root cause - oftentimes pyroluria, EFA severe deficiency, other mineral/vitamin deficiencies - can all cause, in their extreme, psychological symptoms which will get most people swallowing pharma psych meds, as you've tried, with very little success, and they end up on the psych med roundabout trying them all as they're all ineffective due to the root cause not even being diagnostically evaluated.
To assume everyone with Depression and anxiety have a serotonin/norepineprine imbalance is lazy on the part of the medical 'institution'.

Also - as there could be a genetic element due to your parents also suffering, the enzymes GAD (gene enzyme which turns excitable glutamate to calming GABA) are often mutated in people with anxiety, OCD, ADHD etc - also SOD enzyme mutations are shown to produce anxiety - amongst many other gene mutation combinations.

Have you tried GABA? Phenibut is the form of GABA which goes beyond the blood brain barrier so you could try a small dose 250mg of that to see if it has any effect.
Don't abuse it - people do when they find it makes them feel confident - 1 gram can induce worse symptoms than anxiety so it's wise to be cautious and find you ideal dose.
This could be used for meetings, and emergency situations, but don't rely on it as a 'cure'.IF it works for you it highlights a GABA deficiency so you would need to find out why that is. (could be nutritional pathways not being met or genetic)

Sex Hormones being out of balance very commonly cause anxiety, depression, bi-polar symptoms, mood swings, nervousness, jitters, anger, frustration, crying spells etc - the symptoms are endless for hormone imbalances. At the extreme end of imbalance of combined estrogen and progesterone deficiency suicidal tendencies can result - studies have shown this - yet MD's don't even CONSIDER such imbalances when people tell them of 'mood' symptoms.

So you could take a saliva hormone panel for estrogen, testosterone, progesterone, DHEA, and cortisol rhythm x 4 tests during the day.
ZRT labs offer a really good comprehensive full test - canaryclub.org offer the cheapest deals for hormone testing and use ZRT labs.

IMO it is worth using these broad diagnostic routes to rule out any obvious imbalances, which hardly any MD on the planet would even bother doing.

Read accounts of people in your position, who went the pharma med route, changed their diet, detoxed, began yoga, meditation etc etc for years try alternative therapies, and still be plagued with anxiety and Depression until they discovered hormone imbalance and started treating that to feel relief within 2 weeks.

I did the same through alternative healing routes, detoxing and extreme diet clean-up only to not see any change.

Having a good diet, cleansing and detoxing, active lifestyle etc IS important - but it doesn't necessarily cure EVERYONE of their ailments.

See testaments online of raw vegans, fruitarians who died from cancer.
Even the guy that 'coined' the term 'vegan' died from bowel cancer - it's ironic isn't it.

I've been raw for many years, vegan, fruitariand and a meateater so i am well-versed in how ineffective diet change can be with some conditions that are NOT caused primarily by the diet.

Many have the opinion diet causes ALL disease - i used to have that opinion too. Personal experience and also reading about other's health journeys have shown me that's not a truth carved in stone that we'd like to believe.

Having as good a diet as we can, one that's suits us as INDIVIDUALS is important. Go with unusual cravings - your body intuitively knows what it really needs.
If you crave cream cakes all the time you're just being a piggy ;-) lol

There is never a CURE ALL that fits EVERYONE.
I wished there was but thanks to the internet and sharing of information we can read oneanothers journeys and see that there is no cure-all magic bullet. We are individuals with individual gene expression and biochemical reactions due to this.
You have to become more aware of your own biochemical 'blueprint' - knowing what foods create symptoms can give clues as to your intolerances and why.
Keep researching these angles.

I feel for you and have experienced the terror of anxiety to the point of wishing death rather than feel another day of it.

There are causes of this - you will find your cause - don't take mine or anyone's word for what will help you and why you suffer in the way you do - they are, at best, suggestions to give you ideas to investigate.

Wishing you much luck on your health journey :-)
