Moritz' Kidney Tea & Thyroid
I'm on Day 3 of Moritz' kidney tea, and having severe head pains and feeling cold as ice. It feels like my thyroid has crashed.
I found an article that says, "Thyroid hormones control the rate at which your kidneys can do their filtration work. Thus, if thyroid function is impaired, kidney function is similarly impaired."

This makes much sense with what I'm experiencing. I cannot continue like this, I'll have to go back off the tea.
My question is this... How are we to cleanse the kidneys as we liver flush, if our livers control our thyroid (both of which for me are in a very fragile, hyper-sensitive, congested state), and our thyroids are intricately connected to our kidneys?
If it's another chicken/egg scenario, how can I go about cleansing my kidneys while my liver and thyroid are both still a mess?
The other side of the coin is that I've got severe MCS,
food intolerances , etc., and I have a really hard time with most herbs. I'm not sure how to support my kidneys as I flush...
Also to note, remind... My kidneys are presumably already very backed up, pre-liver flushing, as I filled up with a watery 30-pounds of fluid in the first 9 weeks of Andy Cutler ALA chelation. It has remained with me for the last 2 years (no longer chelating).
Any attempts at 'detox' fill me up with more fluid. I worry that my kidneys might not be able to handle liver flushing, that I might do further damage, or that I'm making the kidney congestion worse.
