Better way to measure??
There has to be a better way to measure dosage... I think I'm taking way too much. I never bothered to count drops until today.
I use the 7%
Lugol's - which states on the hang tag:
Each full eyedropper (appr .75 ml) contains about 48 milligrams of
Iodine and 96 milligrams of potassium iodide. Total
Iodine per drop is approximately 7.25mg.
I was thinking that 2 and a half droppers was about 120mg
48 x 2.5 = 120
I just NOW counted how many drops 2 and a half droppers were and it was about 62 drops.
62 x 7.25 = 449.5
So, WTH?? How did they get that 1 full eye dropper is 48 mg?? ? I counted about 25 drops in a full eyedropper... which is 181.25mg per full eye dropper?
This whole time I was taking almost 450mg of Lugol's??
So, would I not only want about 17 drops to get the 120mg?
I feel really stupid... 48 mg would be about 7 drops, not a whole dropper... no?
