Thanks. I'm mainly taking it for general health. I've been on Synthroid and Armour for 40 years and I'm pretty sure I have a totally non functioning thyroid gland so that's probably why I don't get the sore throat. My thyroid gland doesn't use Iodine anymore (I guess).
