Diet rich in Iron
Liver, spleen, blood and meat are the richest sources of iron, and easiest to take in.
Tablets have side effects, and should never be used before you try with liver, spleen and red meat.
You are anemic if your gums are pale.

Unusually rapid heart beat, particularly with exercise
Shortness of breath and headache, particularly with exercise
Difficulty concentrating
