Needless to say, Iodine is not water... and we know that too much of anything is not good. I ponder the long term effect of large amounts of it. Large amounts of fluoride and bromide are bad, so it should follow that large amounts of Iodine might have a negative effect being in the same chemical family. Is a lot of Iodine just like vitamin C and does nothing, or is it like excessive amounts of B vitamins ? The body can handle a lot of sodium, so maybe it is also able to handle a lot of iodine, I don't know, so I asked here and not in VWT because this is a posting that is not supportive.
